Aluminum Profiles and Extrusions
This is the cleanest and most valuable common grade. Profiles are the long shaped sections used in windows, doors, partitions, curtain walls and shopfronts.
Clean extrusion means bare aluminum with nothing attached. No glass, no rubber seals, no steel screws, no thermal break strips. The cleaner it is, the better the rate.
We also buy painted and powder-coated profiles. Coating lowers the grade slightly, but the material is still well worth selling.
Aluminum Sheets and Plates
Sheets, plates, panels, cladding and offcuts from fabrication work. Common sources are workshops, signage companies, factories and building facades.
Composite cladding panels are a special case. Some panels have a plastic core between two thin aluminum skins, which means far less metal than the weight suggests. We identify these during inspection and grade them separately, so you know exactly what you are being paid for.
